Walter L. Bradley is a distinguished professor of mechanical engineering at Baylor University. He received his B.S. in engineering science and his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering, both from the University of Texas at Austin. He taught at the Colorado School of Mines (1968-1976) and Texas A&M University (1976-2000) prior to coming to Baylor University. At TAMU he served as a department head and a director of the Polymer Techology Center. He is an elected fellow of the American Society for Materials.
